StreetNaira does one job: it shows the real USDT to naira rate, live, from the exchanges Nigerians actually use. Bybit, OKX and Bitget P2P boards, plus the instant rates on Quidax and Luno, read directly every minute and lined up side by side.
Why this site exists
Everyone in Nigeria knows the official rate is a story and the street rate is the truth. Since Binance stepped back from naira P2P, the street rate has been scattered across four or five apps. Checking them all before selling takes fifteen minutes, so most people do not, and they leave money on the table. A ₦10 gap per USDT on a $500 trade is ₦5,000 gone. We turned those fifteen minutes into ten seconds.
Where the rates come from
Straight from the source. Our servers read each exchange's public market data every minute: the live P2P order boards on Bybit, OKX and Bitget, and the live tickers on Quidax and Luno. Nothing is typed in by hand, nothing is estimated, and the timestamp on the homepage tells you exactly how fresh the numbers are. The official rate shown for comparison comes from public foreign exchange data.
How we make money
Some of the buttons that take you to an exchange are referral links, and the exchange may pay us a share of its trading fee if you sign up through them. Two things about that, said plainly: the rate you get is exactly the same with or without our link, and the rates we display are never influenced by which exchange pays us. The best rate wins the top spot, full stop, because the day you stop trusting our numbers this site is worthless.
